Purse payouts are determined by the number of entries. If the entry for an event is $560 for members and $660 non members, the entry fee minus the course usage fees minus the event expense equals what goes to the tournament purse. The course usage fee includes carts, range balls and green fees. $10 from every entry goes into an expense pool that is used to offset each event expenses.
20 players X $550.00 = $11,000 - $3,000 course fee($150 ea. player this is on the average) = $8,000 TOTAL PURSE = $8,000
Note: The course usage fee is a lot higher in the spring and fall because of the weather. To play better courses it is going to cost more. The tour will continue to work to get some reasonable prices.
