REMINDER: IT IS THAT TIME OF THE YEAR WHEN COURSES ARE OVERSEEDING AND
THE COURSES CLOSE DOWN FOR TWO TO THREE WEEKS. HERE IS A LIST OF THE
COURSES WE ARE PLAYING AND THEIR SCHEDULE.

The Legacy will be closed from 10/13 to 10/26 this includes the range.

ASU will be closed from from 9/22 to 10/9.

The Duke will be closed from9/29 to 10/17.

Las Colinas will be open.

Trying to find places for you to hit balls. ASU you can practice after 10/9, The Duke
after 10/17, Las Colinas anytime and Vistal after 10/2. I am sorry but you will have to
pay at these places.

Practice rounds for Event #22 at The Wigwam Red Course are $35 including range, you
can call the Golf Shop at 623-935-9414 to get a tee time.

October 10: There are four days to event #22 at The Wigwam Red course and there
are 19 players as of right now. Come on ladies there is $3000 added to the purse, so
let me know if you want to play.

September 22: Event #22 has a sponsor, Benoit Beisser is adding $3000 to the purse for you ladies to play for. The name for the event is "Benoit's Epic Open".
So get your plans together and play for some extra cash on October 14 - 16,
this is a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. First tee time is at 11pm.

September 18:
The tentative 2009 schedule with dates is posted. There are some courses filled in, I will be updating the courses as I sign them up. There are 22 events for next season and the are two series, the winter/spring and the summer/fall.

The Legacy Golf Resort will again be our home course for 2009, you will be able to
practice out there. Thank you to Joe Gaffney again!

2009 prices for professionals:
winter - spring series - membership and registration $300.
summer - fall series - membership and registration $200.

All entry fees will be $600 if you are a member.

A non member can play in two events in each series at $700 per event.
The extra $100 you pay will go towards your registration and membership.

Amateurs will pay $250 per event. Next season amateurs will have to pay a membership and registration fee for each series if they play in more than two events in each series. First series will be $200 and the second series will be $100.

As of right now there is no sponsor for next season. If you have any ideas
about a sponsor or sponsors please let me know.

If you have a suggestion for courses next year that you think we would like to play
let me know asap, because I will have the schedule filled in within the week.

September 10:
Event #21 is complete and there was a sudden death playoff to determine
the winner. Esther Choe(70) and Erin Houtsma(70) tied for first at 218 and Esther made a par
on the first hole to win. Esther wins $2300 and Erin gets $1200. Third place goes to Laura
London(74) at 219 and she wins $1000. Walailak Satarak(74) and Courtney Erdman(74)
tie for fourth and each collect $775. Jasi Acharya wins the Benji with a 71 and collects the closest to the pin on #7 donated by Annie Young. Thank you to Daryl Crawford and Joey
Jones at the ASU Karsten course and their crew for taking care of us. The golf course was
in very good condition.

I would like to wish all the players going to Mission Hills for Q-School next week good luck!!!!!
Remember you do not have to shot lights out there to make it.

The tour will resume back up in October on the 14th at the Wigwam Red course. We have
five real good events left so start thinking about the end of the year. Great tune up for
LPGA finals and Futures Q-school.

September 9:
The second round at ASU is over and Laura London(74) is still in the lead,
her 145 total gives her a two shot lead. There are three tied for second at 147, Courtney
Erdman(75), Walailak Satarak(74) and amateur Heather LeMaster with a four under 68 today.
Then we have three players tied for fifth at 148, Erin Houtsma(73), Raman Saran(71) and
Esther Choe(74). Tomorrow should be a real battle for the winner's checks.

September 8:
The first round of event #21 at ASU Karsten is complete and Laura London
is the first round leader with a one under 71. In second place one shot back at 72 is
Courtney Erdman. Walailak Satarak is in third at 73. Tied for fourth place with 74's are
Jasi Acharya and Esther Choe. Erin Houtsma is in sixth place with a 75.

September 5: Tee times are posted for Monday.

September 4:
Event #20 is over and Amie Cochran(68) wins by nine shots with a
thirteen under 203 total, she wins $2400. Laura London(73) and Elena Kurokawa(70)
tie for second at four under 212, they each win $1150. Fourth place goes to Walailak
Satarak(69) at 214 to collect $1000. Elise Brandt(74) is fifth at 216 and she gets $900.
In sixth place is Christina Lecuyer(75) at 217, she wins $800. Jasi Acharya(72) finishes
seventh at 218, she gets $700. Christin Thomson(71) and Megan Godfrey(76) tie for
eighth at 219 and they get $300 each. Karlie Ward wins the Benji with a 71.

Thank you to The Duke for hosting our event and for letting us play in twosomes for
the last round, three hours and fifteen minutes is a nice time to play in.

Now off to the ASU Karsten course and event #21. If you want to play please let
me know by Friday.

September 3:
The second round of event #20 is over and Amie Cochran(68) is still
in the lead by four shots with her 135 total. In second place at 139 is Laura London(69)
and she is three ahead of third place. In third are three players at 142, Elise Brandt(71),
Christina Lecuyer(70) and Elena Kurokawa(72). Megan Godfrey(71) is alone in sixth
at 143.

September 2:
Round one of event #20 is complete at The Duke and Amie Cochran
is the first round leader with a five under 67. She is three ahead of Laura London
and Elena Kurokawa at two under 70. In fourth is Elise Brandt with a 71. Then
there is a five way tie for fifth at even par 72, they are Christina Lecuyer, Sarah Tiller,
Jasi Acharya, Megan Godfrey and Walailka Satarak.

August 20:
Sarah Tiller makes it two in a row with her win of event #19 at The Legacy.
She fired a 69 today for a 213 total and a six shot victory, she wins $2200. Caryn Wilson
(71) finishes second at 219 and gets $1200. Britney Hayes(74) and Jamie Stevenson(73)
tie for third at 221, each win $950. Then there is a three way tie for fifth at 222, Laura
London(76), Christina Lecuyer(75) and Elena Kurokawa(75) each win $433. Cathie
Williamson wins the Benji with a 71 today.

I would like to say thank you to The Legacy and their staff for taking care of us for three
days and thank you to Joe Gaffney for his continued support of the tour.

August 19:
Sarah Tiller(74) still maintains a two shot lead with her 144 total after two
rounds. Laura London(73) is alone in second at 146. There is a three way tie for third
at 147, they are Christina Lecuyer(74), Britney Hayes(73) and Elena Kurokawa(72).
Caryn Wilson(75) and Jamie Stevenson(76) are tied for sixth at 148.

August 18:
The first round of event #19 is complete and Sarah Tiller shot a one under
70 to take a two shot lead. Jamie Stevenson had a 72 to be alone in second. There is
a three way tie for third at 73, they are Laura London, Caryn Wilson and Christina
Lecuyer. Britney Hayes is alone in sixth place with a 74.

August 13:Sarah Tiller wins her first event of the season. Sarah shot a three under 68
today to give her a total of 212 and the win by two shots, she collects $2200. Megan
Heckeroth(75) finished second at 214 and she wins $1200. Third goes to Miranda Orr(72)
at 217 to win $1000. Britney Hayes(72) is in fourth place at 218 and she gets $900.
Fifth place goes to Laura London(72) at 219 to collect $700. Christina Lecuyer(72) is
in sixth place at 220 to win $600. Christin Thomson wins the Benji with a one under 70.

Next is event #19 at The Legacy Golf Resort, home course for The Cactus Tour. The
course should be in great shape and a good one to get prepared for Q-school. Greens
should be rolling around 11. First tee time will be at 7am.

August 12:
The second round is finished and there is a new leader. Megan Heckeroth
shot a two under 69 today to give her a 139 total and a five shot lead. Sarah Tiller(76)
is in second at 144. Dodie Mazzuca(71) and Miranda Orr(73) are tied for third at 145.
Britney Hayes(69) is in fifth at 146 and Laura London(73) is in sixth.

August 11:
The first round of event #18 at Eagle Mountain GC is complete and
Sarah Tiller is the first round leader with a three under 68. In second is Megan
Heckeroth with a one under 70. Miranda Orr is alone in third with a 72. Then there
is a three way tie for fourth at 73, they are Raman Saran, Christina Lecuyer and
amateur Sydney Liles.

August 6: Event #17 is over and Britney Hayes is the winner, it is her first professional
victory. She shot a 71 today to finish with a 218 total and the winners check of $1800.
Amateur Sydney Liles(74) finishes second at 222. Laura London(73) is at 226 to get
second place money of $1000. Miranda Orr(77) is in third as a professional and gets a
check for $600. Cathie Williamson wins the Benji with a 74.

Next is event #18 at Eagle Mountain GC, if you want to play please call. There are
fourteen players as of right now.

August 5: Round two is complete and there is a new leader at 147, Britney Hayes
had a two under par 70 today to take a one shot lead. Second belongs to amateur
Sydney Liles(71) at 148. Two players are tied for third at 151, Miranda Orr(76) and
Krista Bartlett(73). Laura London(79) is in fifth at 153.

August 4: The first round of event #17 is over and Laura London is our leader with a
74. One shot behind is Miranda Orr with a 75. Tied for third at 77 are Britney Hayes
and amateur Sydney Liles. Krista Bartlett is in fifth with a 78.

August 1: Tee times are posted for Monday and tenative yardage is up for Eagle Mountain.

July 24: Leading money winners are updated and pictures are posted.

July 23: Jamie Stevenson(72) wins event #16 in a playoff on the third extra hole.
Britney Hayes(73) was tied with Jamie at 220 after 54 holtes. Jamie birdies the
third extra hole to win. Jamie wins $2400 and Britney gets $1300. There is a third
place tie at 221, Miranda Orr(76) and Laura London(73) they each get $1000. Erin
Houtsma(77) is in third at 227, she wins $750. Amateur Sydney Liles has low round
of the day with a 71 and she got 2 dozen ProV1's. The Benji award goes to Sarah
Butler with a 74, she gets $100. Thank you to The Duke for having us out and fitting
us in at the last moment. Thanks to Beer Boy Montana Joe for helping us out this week.

There is a week off then back to work for event #17 at Ocotillo. If you want to play
please let me know.

July 22: Round two is finished and yesterdays birthday girl has the lead. Miranda
Orr shot a two under 70 today to take a two shot lead at 145. Second place goes to
Britney Hayes(73) at 147. There is a three way tie for third at 148, Laura London(73),
Andia Winslow(74) and Jamie Stevenson(74). Two are tied for sixth place at 150,
Erin Houtsma(75) and Cathie Williamson(76).

July 21: The first round of event #16 is complete and we have four players tied for first
at 74, two over par. They are Jamie Stevenson, Britney Hayes, Cathie Williamson and
Andia Winslow. There are three players tied for fifth place with 75, they are Erin Houtsma,
Miranda Orr (Birthday Girl), and Laura London.

July 16: Event #15 is over and we had our first playoff of the season. Caryn Wilson(75)
and Sarah Tiller(71) tied at 213 to force a sudden death playoff. Caryn knocks in a
25 foot birdie putt on the first hole to win, Sarah's 20 foot putt just slid by. This is
Caryn's third win in a row, she won $2400 and Sarah got $1300. Third goes to Miranda
Orr(75) at 220, she won $1000, it is her first check as a professional. Tied for fourth at 225
are Jamie Stevenson(75) and Britney Hayes(79), each won $800. Karlie Ward won the
Benji award.

July 15: Round two is complete and Caryn Wilson(73) maintains her lead, now to
four shots with a 138 total. Sarah Tiller(69) is in second at 142, she had low round
of the day. Third place goes to Miranda Orr(71) at 145. Next in fourth is  Britney
Hayes(78) at 146. Raman Saran(74) is in fifth at 147 and Karlie Ward(76) and Shawna
McIntyre(79) are tied for sixth at 148. Thanks goes to the grounds crew at ASU for their
hard work to get the course in playable condition after the storm on Sunday.

July 14: Because of the weather the night before we played the front nine twice at
the ASU Karsten GC. There was a lot of washed out areas and some standing water
but we made it around without any problems. The first round leader Caryn Wilson
shot a five under 65 to take a three shot lead over Britney Hayes at 68. Third place is
Shawna McIntyre at 69, Esther Choe is fourth at 70, fifth is Laura London at 71 and
Karlie Ward with a 72 round out the top six.

July 13: Yes, the pictures are posted finally!

July 11: There is some construction at ASU on some tees so the yardage will be a little
shorter. #2 front tee about 259, #7 at about 90 and #11 at 300 yards.

Tee times are posted for Monday. As of right now there are 12 players playing for $6300.

July 9: Caryn Wilson wins her second Cactus Tour event in a row. She had a 74 today
to give her a 215 total good for $2400. Walailak Satarak(76) finishes second at 218 to
win $1400. Third place goes to Britney Hayes(75) and Erika Ilagan(72) to total at 219
to each win $1100. Tied for fifth at 221 are Erin Houtsma(77) and Sarah Tiller(74) they
each win $850. In seventh place is Laura London(73) at 223 to win $650. Andia Winslow
wins the Benji with a 72.

Thank you to our friends at The Legacy for taking care of us for three days and to Joe
Gaffney for supporting the tour.

July 8: Caryn Wilson(72) is the second round leader of event #14 at The Legacy with
a 141 total. Walailak Satarak(73) is in second at 142. There is a third place tie at 144
between Erin Houtsma(73) and  Britney Hayes(72). Sarah Tiller(73) and Erika Ilagan(75)
are tied for fifth at 147. Laura London(74) is in seventh at 150.

July 7: Round one of event #14 is complete and we have two players tied for the lead
with two under 69. Caryn Wilson and Walailak Satarak are our leaders by two shots
over Erin Houtsma(Kerr) at 71. Tied for fourth with 72 are Britney Hayes and Erika Ilagan.
Shelley Anderson is in sixth with a 73 and Sarah Tiller is in seventh with 74. The golf
course is in great condition and the greens are the best around.

July 3: Well as you can see we are getting a good size field for next weeks event.
Please remember to drink and have enough liquid on hand for your round. If the
pace of play is good we should gone by noon.
